Toast, Broth and Smoked Gubbeen.

After two months of battling with our old Dualit toaster we have today finally caved in and splashed out the 19 quid for a new Breville 4 slice, variable width, high lift piece of bread browning excellence. Thank-you Argos! After not being able to toast scones, buns, brioche, bagels, crumpets, muffins, fruit loaf or anything that didn't resemble a 5mm thick, perfectly square, over processed piece of Hovis sandwich loaf (shit) the decision was really not that hard. So in celebration we sacrificed a full loaf of Hovis, put on a pot of Nanas finest Chicken Broth and bought a lovely piece of Smoked Gubbeen to enjoy with a long, freshly toasted slice of Sourdough.
